Hello there,
My name is Jack Caldwell and I'm a free market economist--aka, economic researcher, forecaster, consultant, journalist, writer and self profess FED watcher. This said, I've been writing economic/financial pieces for over 6 years now. I have a BS in economics, with about 4 graduate courses.
I discovered Hubpages by accident and found the website to be quite addictive--that is to say, most of the writers on here can really write man... love reading the different hub topics.
Most of my hubs--as you can tell--are slated towards economics and finance--obviously with me being an economist. I can write on pretty much anything economics and most things financial. But I also plan on writing on many other subjects that interest me. For the most part I consider myself an economic writer. My goal as an economic writer always has been to "undismal" the so called dismal science: economic can be fun, you just have to know how to approach it from both a historical and contemporary standpoint and put it in a langauge that people can understand it.
The greatest thing about being an economist is that anybody can be one: it's one of the very few disciplines that can be self-taught.
Anyways, hope you all enjoy my hubs--as I have yours
--and
God Bless!
